Holy Angels Independent Catholic Church, here in North Tustin, is part of the Ecumenical Catholic Communion (ECC) and we are an authentic Catholic Church. All Catholics, whether Roman or non-Roman, are in full communion with the Bishop of Rome and are part of the Catholic Communion of Churches. While we honor the Bishop of Rome as first among equals, we do not believe in Papal infallibility and are independent of the Jurisdiction of the Pope. Thus, Holy Angels church is not bound by the same canon law of the Roman Catholic Church.

If you were raised in the Roman Catholic Church, you will feel at home at Holy Angels.

✅ Our clergy are ordained in the same historic apostolic succession.
✅ We celebrate the Seven Sacraments of the Historic Catholic Church: Baptism, Confirmation, Holy Eucharist, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Marriage and Holy Orders.
✅We venerate Mary and the Saints.
✅ Our Mass liturgy is traditional; we affirm the Nicene Creed.

What makes us distinctively a modern and welcoming Catholic tradition:

• Ordination of deacons, priests and bishops is open to all qualified men and women.

• Priests and Bishops are men and women who are welcome to marry and raise families.

• We are a rich blend of ‘Cradle Roman Catholics” and those from other faith traditions that wish to embrace the sacramental mysteries and ancient Catholic traditions.

• Our members are welcomed and called to serve, regardless of their gender, marital status or sexual orientation.

• We affirm that Holy Communion is a free gift from Christ and that the Eucharist table does not belong to a specific church or denomination but to the Lord alone: As baptized people, all are welcome to participate in Holy Communion at Mass.

• Divorced people who remarry are not excluded from the sacraments. A divorced person may remarry in the church with its blessing.
