Stations of the Cross
Stations of the Cross

We adore you, O Christ, and we praise you, because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.

This is the Opening Prayer of The Stations of the Cross, said in countless languages around the world, especially during Lent. On Good Friday, Holy Angels will have the Stations in person in our chapel. Have you ever participated in that liturgy? It's hard to explain what an effect it has on you until you have.

During that evening's service, the clergy moves slowly to stand before each of the 14 plaques that signify the events of Christ's Passion. When congregations are small (or when done by yourself in a quiet church), the congregation moves with the clergy. We hope you can join us for that very moving service.

Until Good Friday, April 18, Holy Angels has the Stations of the Cross Fridays, 8:00 am on Zoom: were you able to join that (roughly) 25 min live prayer last Friday? We're recording it weekly this year. If you've never engaged in that prayer reflection, please find a quiet time to play it for your own reflection.
